-The Town will hold a special election on November 3, 2020 to fill Council Post 3, which was left vacated after the untimely death of Mr. Ken Matthews. Full details about qualifying for this election is available at http://tyrone.org/special-election-qualifying-information/. This election will fill Post 3 through December 2021.
-Elections for Council Posts 3 and 4 will be held in November 2021.
Running for Office:
Citizens wishing to run for office must be at least 21 years of age and have been a resident of the Town for at least 12 months immediately prior to the election. See Section 2.102 of the Town Charter for more details.
