If you are opening a business in Tyrone, we urge you to check zoning prior to signing a lease as we cannot issue an Occupational Tax Permit after the fact if you sign a lease in a zoning district where your business type is not permitted.
Individuals and entities wishing to conduct business in the Town of Tyrone must obtain an Occupation Tax Certificate. Please download documents below for either a Regular business or a Home Occupation to begin the process.
Completed forms may be dropped of at Town Hall, 881 Senoia Road, or faxed to 770-487-4529. Applications may also be picked up in person at Town Hall.
