Yes. You can access our wi-fi inside or outside, including the parking lot, incase we’re closed. Our wi-fi name is under “Tyrone Public Library”, and there is no password.

Come in with your GA Driver's License or proof of residence and a photo ID, and as long as you haven’t had a PINES library card before, we’ll get you signed up! If you have had a PINES library card before, we will update your account and get you a new card if needed.

Yes, come in with your GA Driver’s License, and there is no charge to get a new card.

Yes, but some families find it is more convenient to have one library card for the whole family. If you do prefer for your child to have their own card, the parent/legal guardian (not grandparent, nanny, etc.) of the child has to come in with their form of ID (GA Driver’s License or proof of residence and a photo ID), and the child themselves must come in as well.

To renew your library card, make sure to bring your GA Driver’s License, or proof of residence and a photo ID, and your library card. If it’s your kid’s card, make sure to bring the child’s card and the parent/guardian’s GA Driver’s License or proof of residence and a photo ID.

You can check out up to 50 books and 5 DVDs.

If you check out a book, DVD, or audiobook from our collection, you have the option of up to 2 renewals with 2 weeks for each item (up to 6 weeks total), unless the item is on hold for someone else. If the item is from a different library, the renewals and check out time period may vary.

We have 2 catalog computers for patron use to search for what we have available. You can also go to gapines.org on your device here at the library or at home for our system catalog. If you need any help, ask a staff member.

You can renew your books online, on the phone with us, or you can come in and ask us to renew.

When renewing online, go to gapines.org and sign into your PINES account. If you hadn’t changed your username/password, your username should be your library card number and your password should be the last 4 digits of the phone number you gave us.

When calling, make sure to have your library card on you as we will need the number.

When coming in, make sure to have your library card or GA Driver’s License on you.

Fines for late books is 20¢ per book per late day. So, if you have 10 books checked out and they were returned 3 days late, that will be a total of $6. If you have an item from another PINES library, fines may vary.

If you reach $10 on your account, you will not be allowed to renew your items, check out, or put holds on until the fines has gone under $10.

You can pay your fines and copies with a card, but it does have a convenience fee. We can only take VISA and Mastercard.

We do accept cash and checks for fines and copies. We do not have the capability to accept Apple Pay at this moment.

Yes, we have 2. One is inside at the circulation desk and is open when the library itself is open. The other is on the side of our building facing the parking lot with a drive-thru that you can access at all times. Family passes must be returned to the library you checked it out from. The Zoo DVD must be returned to a staff member directly to retrieve your pass.

Yes, you can use either of our book drops, inside or outside, to return PINES books. You cannot return books from the Coweta or Fulton library since they are not part of the PINES system.

Yes, we have 9 computers with internet access available to use. There are also 2 non-internet computers with games for children. They are available from when we open till 15 minutes before we close. Once they log out/shut down, all content is gone so make sure to save your files so you can access them again because we cannot.

The price is 15¢ for black and white and 40¢ for color (per page NOT per sheet).

Yes, you can scan to an email or to a flash drive at no cost.

No, we do not have fax capabilities.

No, we do not have wireless printing but if your document is on a flash drive, you can print from that. Otherwise, we have public computers available to print from and our computers shut down 15 minutes before closing, so make sure to get here early enough to have time.

Yes. Please look under our ‘Digital Resources’ tab here on our website to access e-books, audiobooks, and e-magazines. We also have physical audiobooks in our library for you to check out.

Yes, we have hotspots, chromebooks, and Lauchpads available to check out. Hotspots and chromebooks can only be checked out to patrons 18 years and older.

We have one large programming room, which can be used if there are no programs going on. We also have study carrels and tables throughout our library for you to use, unfortunately we do not have private study rooms.

Our monthly program calendar is publicized on our website calendar, Facebook, and Instagram. It’s also displayed on the video screen in the library, and we have take-home calendars at the circulation desk.
