Election News – Please Read Information Update

Tyrone will be offering early voting, Monday through Friday, October 12th – 30th. Early voting will take place in the Council Chambers, located at 881 Senoia Road. In the first two weeks, the hours will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The last week will be 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Saturday, October 24th will be offered with the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Early voting will also be offered through Peachtree City and Fayetteville.  Please adhere to Governor Kemp’s social distancing order and the use of masks.  You also have the option of absentee voting. We are also looking at the possibility of a ballot box to be housed at the current Police Department for your convenience. Please see the links below for more information.

The last day to register to vote is October 5th, the last day to submit your absentee ballot is October 30th. You must submit an application for an absentee ballot through the Fayette County Elections office. You will also need to ask for a separate absentee application for the Tyrone Special Election ballot. On Election Day, the only place to vote for the Tyrone Special Election is at the Tyrone Library.  To recap, you can vote early for the Presidential Election and the Tyrone Special Election at the Tyrone Council Chambers, the Fayette Public Library, the Peachtree City Library, and the Fayette County Elections office.
