COVID-19 Update: Emergency Ordinance Adopted

On Tuesday, March 23rd, Tyrone’s Mayor and Council conducted a Special Called meeting exercising their powers per the Town Charter to declare a State of Emergency regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The executed ordinance below, explains the Town of Tyrone’s guidelines per Governor Brian Kemp and the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). This ordinance is currently in effect and will remain so through April 7th, 2020 at 5:00pm. Council has, at their discretion, the ability to meet and extend this timeframe if need be. This is a fluid situation and the Town is calling on all businesses and citizens to do their part to help keep Tyrone safe. We appreciate your cooperation and compliance during this unique time.
